Time to get in the marshes and pines, it's starting. Friday morning I saw lots of little button and spike bucks running all over the place, even into daylight, while working in southern Dorchester. Supposed to be cool end of the week, I plan on being out there!

I'll be out on Sat. I'll be on private on Sunday (for whitetail) in Dorchester (after I recheck the regs). Wish I could hunt public on Sunday.

First legal Sunday is October 12th Bart! Under two weeks of work remaining, I'll soon be happy to see Sundays for a rest. Hunting Mon-Sat gets a bit tiring.

Dave, saw it after I posted last night. Looks like I'll be doing some scouting and fishing on Sun. Oh well.

I was at an undisclosed sika location this past Friday night, waiting for the morning hunt & the marsh was full of sika talking to each other. Only saw 1 & never got a shot, but still a good time.

That is pretty cool DeerHunter. I look forward to getting over there with you in two weeks. Already have it on my calendar.... You know you always get one when I am with you, maybe this time we can double up on DARK SHAGGY STAGS..

Fox, I'm not sure if there are any tranny sikas out there, but I'll keep my eyes open for them. Jk, good luck this season, I have a feeling this is going to be the one for you!
