Any of you folks who have kids 8-18 might be interested in In Wildlife Adventure Day in Newburg on October 4th, 8:30 to 3:00.
It's put on every year by Charles Co 4H, Mirant, NWTF, and Quail Unlimited, as well as a bunch of other folks who have displays and stuff for the kids.
Programs include air rifle, trapping,archery, turkey calling, wildlife habitat, decoy carving, casting, lure making,etc.
Teens can sign up for 3D archery and sporting clays progarms.
Includes lunch and a Tshirt. $5/kid

they thought about having Osprey do it but then realized that it would make the water to dirty so they asked us....

Dang Fox, sounds like he'd LIKE to see us in wet Tshirts. He's one sick, twisted bird..... Unless he meant drunken booth?

Perfect day! Couldn't beat the weather, plenty of good eats, a good turnout of kids, and a GREAT bunch of folks who gave up their day to help teach the kids (and some of those folks came a LONG way). Heck, Edelen's Taxidermy brought along a great display and did a half mount on a whitetail during the event!
