Maryland Fur Trappers will have a table at Schrader's and also at Crabtoberfest at Sailwinds in Cambridge same day. Sorry I won't get to see you Nick but I have to man the spot in Cambridge. First time I can recall we have 2 events the same day. We need to get our message out to as many people as we can and therefore duty calls. Nick...what time will you be set up at Vonnie's ?

From the number of Buckwild magazines I saw in backpockets of folks over in the livestock barns at the St Marys fair, I'd guess you all had quite a few visitors.
And I learned that going across the fairgrounds to where the rides were, it turned into a freak show pretty quick. Almost like I was in two different countries.
Morgan, I was surprised to see that Richard G came all the way over here for Patuxent Sportsmen's Youth Day earlier in the summer: he did one heck of a good job:really got and held the kids' attention, even though only a few had any prior exposure to trapping. Mr Tucker and some others manned the booth at Buckwild's Hunting and Outdoor Expo, and I belive that he will also be at the Wildlife Adventure Day coming up soon. EVERY time I get the chance to talk with him, I come away with a new idea, or better understanding of something. Glad to see so many dedicated folks offering their time, energy and experience to keep our traditions alive. Heck, even shamed me into manning the booth at Pax River Appreciation Day.

We had a blast at the fair. We met a lot of new peopleand a few guys from the site. BBD, Bowhuntertom, Davep of course and a few others. We gave out hundreds of magazines and decals. I love St. Marys county! I heard lots of hunting stories and heard of alot of big bucks being killed opening week. I think I saw more camo being worn at the fair than at the hunting and outdoor expo!
Morgan I'll be at Vonnies Sunday, I think at 10 oclock or so. I have to hammer out the details this week.
