At the risk of ruining MY future odds, I'll share:
Georgia gator application deadline is July 31st. Can do it all online. Costs nothing to apply, and not too expensive if you draw a tag. ($50 tag, nonres small game, and WMA permit IF on state land)
Looks like 3 years should get you a tag, 4 will, as things stood last season.
This is my third year: have to decide to go for it, or just get a point this year and go for SURE next fall.
Of course, my buddy in the Fla panhandle called today to tell me I can use his boat AND motorhome, IF he can tag along.
And he already has a bangstick.
"Hey y'all.WATCH THIS ;D"

I took a 6'9" and my brother's was 9'3"! Saw some 11-12', but couldn't get on them. Had a BLAST.

That is pretty cool. I was fishing in a bass tournament in Florida at a spot called "The Gator Hole". There were monsters everywhere. Went back the next day and saw none. Asked the guy I was fishing with where they all went. He said the temperature drop caused them all to stay underwater right under us. I made sure my feet didn't dangle over the boat!
