Lots of gobbling this morning. This guy came in right off the bat about 10 minutes after he flew down. Worked another that came 500 yds across a wheat field and my buddy missed him clean.

Congrats, sounds like you had a great morning! You wouldn't believe the number of birds we heard this morning. It was unbelievable. BTW: I'm gonna be mounting this one in a full strut pose. It'll be my first turkey to mount. Nothing like starting with the hardest pose.

Better yet, post some pics AS you mount it: skinning,prep,fitting,finsihing,etc. I STILL haven't done anything with mine from last year.(or my 'lope, or deer,or fox,...) Going to wind up doing a flat cape, or some such. Congrats on a nice bird!
