Im a new member to this site and have been hunting for about 4 years. I just got my doe back from this new guy I tried in VA near my father's property and I'm almost sure I didn't get my deer back. I have decided to try and butcher my own but have never done it before need to know what materials I need, type of saw, cuts etc. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

Cabelas has some nice kits with everything you need in a case. Then you'll need a grinder or other things. What I did in the past is kill, skin, quarter the deer, cube the meat and then take the cubed meat to a butcher who would grind it and add beef fat. Saved a bunch of money that way.
