Talked to the guys from QDMA while they were packing up and they said they will be taking a fresh piece of untouched ground and will demonstrate different techniques from start to finish. If I am not mistaken they will be using tractors and atvs to demonstrate.
Unfortunately I have a birthday party to go to, tried to skip it but the wife got mad because it is our son's birthday!

We can't have this event if it rains that day or too much the day before. If you think you want to attend, email me with your phone number. That way I can get back to you by Friday night in case of cancellation.

Did anyone go to this? I was wondering how it turned out, sounded like it would be very informative.

There were about 12-15 people who showed up. Very poor attendance but a good time. I don't know if it was because of the extreme heat (105 degrees), location or a combination of both. Lunch and beverages were free and we had plenty of bs'ing going on which always seems to be the norm when deer hunters get together.
Mali Vujanic of Outdoor Essentials, LLC was the host. You won't find as much info about planting food plots anywhere than you will with being around this guy. Trust me, he's a food plotting nut! That's why the Quality Whitetails tv show producer flew in from South Carolina for this event. Mali got in plenty of camera time but he spent most of the time answering questions anybody had. He also got in a commercial for Tecomate seeds and the Camera Stick.
Looks like we'll be having this event again in the spring of 2008!
