Been down alabama since april 07 building a new power plant and have missed the luxury of being able to get online and chat with you guys.Stayed down there about a month too long cause of changes in the project and haven't been able to get ready for hunting this year,so I gotta get caught up. Can say one thing I will never take another job that requires me to be gone like that again, the$$ was good but not worth being gone from family and friends.I'm gonna take off from now till feb 08 and then look for work local, might even go back to work for someone and stop sub contracting myself out.I can see that you guys have been at it already and hope to catch up. The changes you guys made to the site are awesome really like the way your'e doing the buck of the month thread keep up the good work.

Powdernut welcome home, good to hear from you. Did you partake in outdoor activities while away?

Yeah sure did was in the Roanoke area would truck over to westpoint lake in Georgia and fish or would head west to the Talladega national forest often with a climber stand and find a tree and read a book. What deer I saw were alot smaller then what we have here at home.I guess because of the difference in climate year round. But on the other hand the bass seemed to be larger then what you would catch up here.Got a chance to go to the nascar race with a couple guys I met on the job,3 guys with a rv full of beer and Jack daniels in the infield for 3 days they know how to throw a party down there!Other then that just worked.
