Any of you guys looking to rake in new guns and raise money for a good cause(and get a tax benny), I recommend attending your local NWTF's dinner. Grub was good, drinks were cheap and man did they raffle some guns and prizes. At least 5 guys I hunt with won guns, including the table we sponsored(won an 870 express w/NWTF logo, let my buddy have it, he's a new hunter). I am a big supporter of DU, but these guys have got it together. Kudos to the folks of the Southern MD chapter of the NWTF

1st year being a member, membership is free when you got to one of the dinners, around $70 bucks.

Most of my guns have been won from the NWTF banquets including my TC Encore! My pops and I usually are "sponsors" so we get tons of raffle tickets. Basically, the more you pay up front the more tickets you get for the dinner. They incentivise it an it's usually a good deal in the long run. You can also get more bang for your buck if you get a "table" of friends together. The just recently had their annual banquet but there is also the "gun bash" where like 1 and 10 folks when a gun. That is usually in the fall I think.
Good times...!
