I have a Winchester Apex 209, the gun is accurate, and built well. It is heavy (most ML's are), and not sure if this is a problem, but my only complaint-type comment is that the bottom of my scope gets dirty from the cap firing, some gas/powder must escape from the gap between the "action" and the barrel each time it is fired and deposit the grit on the bottom of my scope …. Probably would not even notice w/ a black scope, but I can w/ the silver scope. Overall it is a great ML for the money, I would buy another if this one got stollen or something.

I have a Remington model 700 ML & have the same thing happening, though my scope is black. Just part of muzzleloading I guess. At least it doesn't get in the scope's line of sight ;D
