what kind of weather do you like for sika hunting? How have you found the wind to affect them? Thanks, Brad

As in any hunting I like cold overcast days. TheDeerHunter would know better than me, he's a Sika Slayer! Im sure he will chime in.

I don't know that much about them, but they are even more nocturnal than whitetail, so I would say overcast would be best.

I'll take a cold wind, temps in the 50's during early October please. As for the wind, I've found I see plenty on windy days, but think that's because they don't hear me come in to the hunting area. On calm days I hear them first and then see them, but have to get in quietly. I love it when it's windy on the way in and then the wind lays out calm, get that quite a bit on afternoon hunts...

thanks guys. Sounds like monday will be very windy. Tuesday is looking a little better and wednesday sounds good. I hope their wrong but accu weather is calling for 50 mph gusts monday. Ain't nothing moving in that.
