Buckwild Staff, Thanks for putting together a great expo!! Had a great time today. Southern Maryland needed that. Got all the hunters pumped for the upcoming season. I know I am being the proud winner of the Mathews Solo Cam Bow. Been wanting to get into bow hunting for last couple years now. Thanks to the Buckwild raffle you’ve got me started with the best.
Thanks again, David

Like the others said, THANKS for putting this together! I was hoping it would do well, but was a little apprehensive as to the turnout, being an inaugural event and all. When I rolled on in at 0900, and saw the line, I KNEW it was going to work out for you all!
And a special thanks for having stuff for the kids. We need to do all we can to get and KEEP the little ones involved in our way of life. And it was nice to put some faces to the names and meet some of you. Dave
PS-Did Rob Colona do the trapping seminar? I saw him on Bel Alton-Newtown as I was rolling out. He always does a great job.

Nick, Frank, Gio and all the guys that worked so hard to put this show together a HUGE thanks for your efforts. We (The MD Bowhunters Society) were there manning the Youth Archery Clinic. I'd like to say I got around to see the rest of the event but we were non-stop from 9:00 until close at 5:00. I know we ran at least 175 -200 individual kids through our range and many of those came back multiple times. We could have used 10 volunteers at the range. The 5 of us that were there were pretty much beat by day's end but it was a good kinda "beat". Man the looks and smiles on those kids faces when they hit one of those balloons were priceless. I was also happy to meet so many of our fellow MBS members from over the other side of the state.
Don't forget to invite us again next year Nick and we'll do the range again AND we'd like to set up a booth to sell memberships too.

Buckwild............
You guys pulled off one of the greatest Expo's I have visited and vendored at in a long, long time. From 9am to 3pm I could not move from my booth. Jam packed with lots of people. I sold a huge amount of trail cameras and stands and the people came to buy!! The weather was perfect and timing of this event could not have been better. This is the time of the season when hunters are thinking about hunting. The new hunting shows are on tv, dove season is 2 weeks away, bow season is almost here and guys are seeing bucks in the fields at full potential. It is time to throw summer in the gutter and move on to fall!!
On a personal note, I was most impressed with how organized the event was. The guys on the 4 wheelers pulling carts and helping vendors load and unload is something you just dont find at every event. And, coming around the booth with refreshments and food was a super plus. It was a family affair too. Kids coming by with painted faces, balloons and all kinds of stuff.
For a "FIRST" time event, you guys pulled it off more than well! I will most definitely vend at your event next year and on behalf of the companies I represent, I thank you again for paying attention to detail!

Buckwild: Great show!!! Good timing, good venue. Lots of hard work, I'm sure, but you guys pulled it off nicely. I'm sure the vendors were happy. You better get to planning for next year because the demand is there. Kudos to you all.

Sounds like you guys had a good one, congrats on the show! Next year I'll try to make it over, just bad timing for me this year - too much farm work/CRP chopping to get done this weekend. Glad it went well, but what I want to hear are the stories from the campout/party the night after the show!!

Osprey, you'll notice that there have been NO posts in the Buckwild Bash thread since the expo ended.
Either they're all still passed out, scattered across the fairgrounds, or they're all in the county lockup!
Most of the guys sure LOOKED like they needed a drink at the end of the day. A well deserved one, I might add. I was going to stay awhile, and visit, but had 3 happy, wore-out kids in tow.

Hey Guys Thanks for putting So MD on the Hunting Show Circuit!!
Our Indian Head MD Hunter Safety Team filled up our Sept class in no time.
I gave the NWTF Turkey Hunting Seminar, and had a great time meeting the locals and old friends...
I helped out with the MBS Youth Archery and it was great! I'll never forget one youngster's reaction to shooting a bow for his first time & breaking a balloon - what a hoot, he gave me a high-five, lol.
Congratulations on your efforts and all of you that put it together and made it work - - many thanks!
