Well there wasn't any rain around today but there was plenty of geese. We were able to take our limit by 9:30.

I was hunting a spot at Chapel point right on the water saturday. We got a shot at one bufflehead with no success. My first time shooting at a duck! One of the three guys I was hunting with went out to move the duck decoys out a little further due to the tide going out, wouldn't it figure that a bufflehead tried to land 15 yards from him in the middle of our decoys. No shot was taken. We came up with nothing. Taking off work this friday and hunting saturday also! No rain at all where I was.

I got up to go this morning, but couldn't make myself go out in the downpour just for more buffleheads. If I had anything else or some numbers of birds it'd be different, but it's just soooo poor this year.

Same here. I was excited to go out for geese outside of Salisbury but when I turned on the weather channel and heard them talk about lightning, I stayed in bed! Tomorrow should be OK.
