I've only been out of bryan's road. Marshall hall boat launch, first blind spot, the times I went were action packed all morning. I was told its not usually like that so I think I may have gotten spoiled.

Has anyone hunted the flooded timber or pond at myrtle grove?

I have walked down there and looked, but not hunted it yet. When I went it was still very early in the year & it was not flooded yet. Did see a few ducks there though.

I walked back there today and it looks good, no ducks though but it was around 1. Were going out there Tues. morning so hopefully we get lucky. Trying to find a good spot, there are 2 huge areas of flooded timber. Hopefully some wood ducks are still there since its been warm.

myrtle grove is good at times opening days of the 3 splits are best . i have heard of a butt load of woodys taken out of there . a guy i hunted with this past saturday took his limit of grey mallards an woodys the end of the last spilt

is anyone going duck hunting saturday i was wondering if maybe i could tag along and learn since i wanted to get into it this year and just not deer hunt
