Hey Frank, you getting anything in yet for this year? I got a bunch done before the rains the last few days, upped the amout I plant quite a bit, too. A half acre plot of ImpWT Winter Greens, already had in a few acres of sorghum and a few more of clover, another half acre of a canola/rape/turnip mix to try it out, a half acre of another turnip mix, another half acre of rape and radishes, and a bunch of jap millet in one impoundment. I've got one more plot to put in yet, I think I'm doing that around labor day with millet and sunflowers - mainly millet for flooding later, but I'm hoping the sunflowers will be about 2-3" tall for the opener of bow season and getting hit heavy by the deer, would be nice to fill a buck tag early.

Planted an acre of kale, turnip, radish, and rape yesterday afternoon in anticipation of the rain we are supposed to get......Rain dances for me soon.
Got 2 1/2 acres of corn planted and it is about done, just drying out now waiting for the deer to get hungry.
Got an acre of buckwheat to plant in a couple of weeks. Last year they really seemed to love that stuff.
Really enjoy planting and watching it grow.

I agree, planting and doing the habitat work are a lot of the fun for me, too.

Got some rain last night as I hoped. Haven't gotten to assess how much, but from what I can tell, it appeared to be just the right amount.
