So if you have one go a head and post it up.
Here is mine..
Got my boys up at 230am on Saturday morning and headed out to my shore lease. LOTS of deer were out and about on the roads heading over, even seen a few nice bucks cruising. Got to the lease about 530am and had a nice HIND standing in front of the blind when we pulled in to drop gear off. The morning was slow and quiet and not a lot of deer movement. About 830 or so I look over and see deer coming out of the woods and into the shooting lane. I get Austin into position and it is 4 doe whitetail. They are about 100 yards and just feeding around. Austin cannot seem to get steady and does not want to take the shot. Says he is moving too much and doesn't want to risk it. He switches spots with Dylan and Dylan takes aim at a large doe that has separated from the group and turned broadside. He is ready and touches off the 243 and the deer drops. We do some high 5-ing and settle back in.. We decide to get out and get the deer gutted and hung up at about noon and no more deer were seen... Back in the stand at 1pm and we have whitetail doe action the rest of the day. Not much lag time and it seems they were content with just hanging out at 300 yards and not coming any closer to give Austin a chance. Pretty disappointing but an overall great hunt with my boys..
I know Stoner had a great day in the woods with my kids buddy Dylan and Dylan was able to take his first buck and a real nice one at that. I will let him post up pics and a story if he wants to.
