Was out in the field today and things are looking really good, one of the better crops I've had the past few years. Deer are already nibbling on the tops of the turnips, rape and radishes, plenty of browsing marks. Rains this week should send it into overdrive!!!

Both of these plots took off after the showers we got this weekend.

That's what mine looks like too! Looks like Iowa around this place, all I need is some TV cameras and Tiffany.

Took a picture of the plot this weekend. Still think it needs a bit of lime in places (pine needles are a little acidic), but I'm happy for how it turned out.

Takes time to establish a new plot in the woods - soil isn't really right for what we try to grow. Looking good though.
Doesn't help that I can see the deer have already been doing their part to mow it down.

Frank, Bartman's plot must be doing something, Art is shooting deer next door and he says they've all been fat and well fed!
