IF HALF OF THE MEMBERS ON THIS SITE WOULD DEDICATE THEMSELVES TO GETTING A GOOD HUNT ON FILM, WE COULD MAKE A BUCKWILD DVD. IM DEFINATELY DOWN. WOULD ANYONE BE IN FOR A BUCKWILD ADVENTURES DVD. I THINK WE COULD MAKE THIS HAPPEN

I have tried to get hunts on film & so far have gotten one successful one. Kind of hard for me to get someone to film - they want to hunt themselves.
Like the idea & think it would be pretty neat!

Yeah I like the idea as well. We started the last two seasons but always end up scraping the idea. Self filming isn't that easy. I have blown shots on some nice bucks because they stepped out of frame and I tried to adjust the camera and got busted. To hunt with someone else, everybody wants to be the hunter not the filmer. Who wants to have a camera in your hand, during the rut, when a monster walks underneath your stand.
If anyone on here gets some good hunts on film we will defiently put them together into a dvd.

i can say i am someone who has done alot of video taping an still had a succesful season . i know the deer hunter knows about some kills ive got ,and last duck season our cousin from jersey got a bit of good footage . and the last two youth waterfowl hunts ive went on were video taped from begining to end . i have no problem taping for someone aslong as i get to kill something too on or off camera .you kno a give and take type thing .or video tape for a kill and then be able to come back and hunt once or twice.

IF ENOUGH PEOPLE WERE INTERESTED WE COULD GET TOGETHER AND DEVELOP A FORMAT SO PEOPLE KNEW WHAT WAS NEEDED ON FILM SUCH AS INTRO, INTERVIEW, HEROE SHOT,ETC. OTHERS THAT DIDNT HAVE A CAMERA MAN COULD GET AQAUINTED. IF 25 GUYS GOT DECENT FOOTAGE THAT WOULD MAKE A HELL OF A DVD. WHATS UP DUCKBUSTER, ITS CLYDE.C

I am game! I taught technology for the summer academy in Charles county this past summer. We had AFI video come and train the staff on making videos. I know how to work Movie maker pretty well but my computer will not burn DVD's only data files on CD's from window's media player! I am planning on filming my hunt on the 15th. I think I can get my friend to film if two big bucks don't come in at the same time! I don't have a top of the line camera but I know how to video tape!!

It's kind of funny, Buckwild Adventures all started fro the idea of making a DVD. We filmed a lot of stuff, just never really got any good buck shots. I even had a small trailer made (have to dig around an find it) I love the idea of doing a Buckwild DVD I just wish I had more time!!!!!
Lets try this out. Lets do some Buckwild Huntin this year and those who can film - film. Lets see what we can get on film. If I can get 15 GOOD hunts on film by the end of the season then I will spend the time putting together a BUCKWILD ADVENTURES DVD! Mini Dv cams work really good, if you know alittle bit about filming and computers you can burn the tape to a CD and send it to me. We can work out the details later, but for now lets just HUNT & FILM and be BUCKWILD!
I will post a new board on filming hunts and provide info on filming tec, anyone else can feel free to add to the board as well.

I don't have a video camera (wish I'd had one in North Dakota, coulda gotten AWESOME footage) so leaves me out I guess. More of a film guy anyway. Probably just as well to keep my mug off the video screens - could break lots of glass!!

me and the duckbuster go out together and have no problem splitting time between the camera and the hunting.. we will do that again this year.. i know for a fact that when my dad comes out for his paid hunt in MD that i have the go ahead to go and film it.. so count that in for the tape.. it is going to be awesome..

Sounds like a good idea. I would be up for it but I would need to get my hands on a decent camera.
