Figured I'd start a post so we can maybe help each other track movements this year. Unfortunately, I am yet to have a report, but should by this weekend.
Anyone have anything?

My report is simple. Both Friday and Saturday we had deer move VERY late but a buddy took one of them (730). The one property was hunted hard last year and the other we have been hunting field edges for crop damage does. So pressure may be a factor. Had a friend kill a doe very early evening (430). Had plenty of light for a second deer but none showed. Hunting Thursday eve in a blind and All day Saturday!

My daughter took a 3pt in velvet last Friday evening. They came in about 10 minutes before dark.

Nothing to report besides hunting last Friday morning in Sikaville. Seen nothing till I got out of the stand after 10am and was cutting grass, apparently ringing the dinner bell for 3 separate deer to cross the road in front of me. I am fairly certain I could hear a deer laugh over the sound of my tractor..

I'm sure they were laughing at you fox. No deer report, but I did go dove hunting on Saturday afternoon. The 8 of us ended up with 67. And I had a sore shoulder Sunday morning to go along with it.

I took a nice doe last Saturday and have been seeing allot of doe and small bucks in bow range during the early morning/late evening hunts. No shooter bucks yet but I hope to soon.

From what I have noticed the deer on my properties have no pattern. I have been told they are on the corn pile at random times of the day. 630am, noon, 4pm. I have hunted same pile with perfect wind and have seen only fawns. Its slightly frustrating. I have a sargham feild that I am figuring out how to hunt. It is dry and they are eating in and bedding in it! Good luck fellas!

I have been working a Wed-Sat shift for september and don't get home till 11pm, so I haven't even made it out yet. The first time i'll get out this year is oct. 5th! As for movement though, my trail camera has had quite a few deer on it but for the most part it's been all at 11pm or 3am hours. Cooler temps started showing a few at 6:30 or 7:30 but i'll see what happens on the 5th.

I have two doe down and am still meat hunting. I'll start becoming more cautious of what I shoot come October 21st as I feel if the cool temps set in that pre-rut will be going on so I will pass a few doe to see what happens. I typically don't do that but I think I'll try something different this year. All the bucks I have killed have been cruising by themselves in the AM. I hope to get lucky this year and kill a nice buck because I am hoping to "redecorate" my den!! How did it go Gungir???

Nice Mike! Can't wait to read the post! I got my 3rd deer Saturday evening. I have not seen any good bucks but my friends have. Haven't been able to close the deal though. I am looking forwad to hunting this coming week. Getting out over the weekend but not during the week.
