OK folks.. I am trying this out and seeing what happens.. I drew a tag and really have no knowledge how to bear hunt in MD. I know the rules but have no idea where to go or what to look for. If anyone out there can help me out I would GREATLY appreciate it. I am not asking for your secret spot or to hunt land you own (But I could throw you a few bucks if that is the case) But i do want to try and take advantage of the bear tag. So if you think you can help please drop me a line or PM me and let me know I would greatly appreciate anything you can do.. Thanks guys and gals..
Andy

I'd see what Osprey may have to share.
He is the famous Maryland bear hunter. ;D
I may have some info if you need a sub-permitee. ;D ;D ;D

Try and catch up with me via phone this weekend Andy, working Friday night but around the rest of it. It's a hike in, but I know a great public spot with tons of bears and can tell you how I'm going to hit it when/if I ever draw a tag.

By the way, are we going to start a pool as to whether anyone takes a shot at Andy thinking he's Bigfoot?

By the way, are we going to start a pool as to whether anyone takes a shot at Andy thinking he's Bigfoot? LOL, sort of like The Simpsons episode where Homer loses his clothes, then rolls in mud and leaves to conceal his nekkidness, then gets stung in the mouth by bees, and goes running towards folks screaming, "Marglebumphagoogelygoe". Good luck! Should be plenty of bears up there, as we've seen them and/or FRESH sign first week of November in Savage SF AFTER bear season last few years.
