Well, if what I've got at my house is any indication it should be inspiring down in sika land now. Had the freshwater bugs come off Saturday morning, plenty of those while goose hunting, and yesterday/today the salt marsh bugs started in waves. Fun times....

Was over in Fishing Bay yesterday and the marsh wasn't bad by the high ground was real bad . There does seem to be alot of water snakes (I really don't like snakes) .

Still have the lease and will be heading over there this weekend for a work party. I will have several bottles of OFF and both thermacells on high.. I would assume it is going to be a nightmare.

I literally soaked myself in OFF Saturday to cut grass but I didn't see much.. Still would not be running around there without the DEET but was not too bad.. Did see a couple sika on the way out. I have to get back over there to do some shooting lanes and tree clipping so I can get the boys over there this year. So hopefully there is a freak snow storm soon to kill anything left off..

Cool mornings help, below 50 degrees the bugs aren't very active.
