Got me a new sika mobile . Last year I used a 12ft. yak and I love it . Just no room ,it's a sit inside so me a stand and bow FULL . Kill one and he gets a ride in my lap .This year it will be a 10ft. jon with a 6hp mudbuddy. I took it out in Fishing Bay sat. .Wow this thing will fly and it goes in the same water as the yak. That and room for a stag ! Still no bugs ,well not many just fly's and 1 tick . That's not using any spray .

Those mud motors are nice, but dang they're loud. After you roar past I'll come along and sneak up on 'em in my yak.

I also loved my yak , but a 11/2 - 2 mile paddle then a 250-300 yard walk just too much for me . Should have stopped smokeing sooner !

Dang, now you've got me looking forward to fall even more. Love those moonlight paddles out of the marsh in the evening after sika hunting!

Just don't run me over in my yak when you come flying by at 4 in the morning. Seriously, there isn't much room on some of those ditches.

I'm curious, how fast did it run in open water?

Rig yourself a snare pole like they had in Hatari on the catch-Jeep, you can snatch sika off the bank as you roar past!

I didn't have a gps . But it sure felt like as fast as I would like to go in a 10 ft. boat . I put a grab bar on the center seat and stood . More like surfing than boating (lol) . Went back last week and the skeeters were there also ! OUCH ! !

I was averaging about 3 mph in my canoe yesterday. Found some nice sika spots. Only problem was fighting the tide and wind on the way back in. I think I averaged 0.5 mph on the way back.

Sounds like you don't like my little sika mobile . Wish I could still use my yak , but I must be a sissy at 60 its just too hard to paddle marsh .
