Hey guys, I've been lookin at aftermarket chokes for my Stoeger 3500 and have been looking at Carlsons or kicks high flyer. Nothing set in stone and I might just stay with the factory chokes. Anyhow just wondering if anyone else uses these or any aftermarkets? Recommendations, thoughts, successes, aftermarkets stink, etc? Just trying to gauge if it's worth picking up one or two or if it's more hype to part me with my money... Lol

Geez Andy, do you hit any?! I used an open cylinder bore with steel 2's for ducks for years, with the new shotgun I use a skeet tube. Mod for geese just for long passing shots. You really need to pattern with steel or non-tox loads with any chokes to know what they're doing, with that cylinder bore I had an 18" pattern at 20 yards, with the mod that gun only had a 6" pattern at the same distance.
I hate most of the new choke tubes, they seem to think we're all idiots. Notice how they're all labeled simply "over decoys" or "passing" or "extended range" now? What ever happened to full, mod, IC, and skeet. I don't have a clue what these 'choke tubes for dummies' labels will actually pattern anymore.
