Been in New Brunswick Canada hunting bear four days now and some of the toughest weather conditions I have ever bear hunted in. Cold temps (low 40 degree temps most of the time) pouring rain and strong 30 to 40 mph winds have just shut the bears down. I haven"t seen a bear the entire hunt and been hunting hard in some pretty crappy weather. Weather is clearing a bit today and really just hoping the wind calms down as that is more than anything keeping the bears from the bait during daylight hours. Last chance tonight then I drive home but I will give it my best today and get in the stand earlier and hope for the best.
