That looks to be the marina where me, Kevin and Tattoo put out to duck hunt in Indian Head.. There was a cat fish tourney out of there that day and they caught some big fish.. may be worth a cruise out there and check it out..

That is Ft Washington Marina. He caught it up near the National Harbor on the channel ledge.
The key to big cats is fresh gizzard shad. The best way to catch the shad is to gill net them in a Virginia creek as it is illegal to gill net them in MD.

After seeing the monster I had to go give it a try myself. Caught 5 fish. Only landed 1 big one. The one pictured weighed in at 29lbs 10 oz - 38 1/2" long. Lost another big one in the 20-30lb range just feet from the boat while i was trying to net it. Caught them on alewives and mud shad. It was a beautiful day to fish and there was alot of people on the water today and alot of people cat fishing. Good luck if you guys go out this weekend.
