they said in this post that they would only be at the show on Sat. I went today and got my deer back. Scored 144 4/8. Not enough to win anything. Oh well. Nice show though.

Deerslayer it was really nice to meet you and your wife. You all are some great people. Felt like we have known you for years! Too bad about your deer, it was even nicer in person than in the pictures. But there were some other absoulutly awesome bucks. Couple other members were there as well. Reed, sideways, mikevb, and a few others. The show itself was great but a not as many people coming through the doors as I would have thought. I pictured Bass Pro Shop on a Saturday, but not that many came. I still had a blast! I met a ton of great people from the eastern shore. A few shop owners, mbs members, taxidermists, non profit members, both guys from QDMA, guy's from Dodd's hunting service and people just passing through. Everyone was really cool even though it was slow. I even brought out some BUCKSHOT lip balm to sell. Had a postive response from everyone who tried it.
Osprey We were hoping to see you out there but we could only attend on Saturday. John from Down Wind Scents wanted to meet you and thank you for doing that article on them. They really appreciated it. I figured you must have been rockfishing or at the Springfest. Anyways we'll hook up next time.
Thanks again to everyone for making our trip out there so much fun, hope to see everyone again at our expo in August.

It was nice meeting you all on Saturday! You guys really got it going on. I was wearing my Buck Wild t-shirt yesterday and had a few people ask what is was all about.
Yesterday, the crowd came in spurts. It was a little better than Saturday. We were trying to raffle off an art print at the QDMA booth. We were wondering if we would at least pay for the print. Yesterday, Darrin Moore and his wife helped us out with selling tickets at the front door. We ended up selling all of the tickets by 2:00! The guy who was grilling the pig outside won the art print.

I knew one of ya said you'd only be there Saturday, but I thought the rest would be there with the booth all weekend. Time we got done turkey hunting Saturday and messing with the bird it was time to get ready for the Cinco de Mayo party that evening so I just waited till Sunday. If I'da known I'd have tried to rush over Saturday... Did meet the guys from Downwind and talked with them for a good while, great guys. Picked up some more apple scent for sika hunting! Looked at some tractors, too - that's one of the next things on my list! When I was there Sunday it was slow, but it was early in the morning. I only saw one sika on the buck contest, was that it or did some go home Saturday night??? And I wore my Buckwild shirt too, but it was so stinking cool on Sunday I had another shirt on over it.

Glad to hear you wore the BUCKWILD shirt...too bad nobody got to see it. YEP - that was the only sika there... anything could have taken second, even me! Too bad it's still at the taxidermist.

I don't ave any info on that. I'll ask the guy who ran it and maybe he will put it on his website. But they were BIG.
