what do you use for finish? I just refinished my first stock. Old beat up savage 22 hornet. I scorched the wood and used tru oil. Not as nice as yours but I'm pretty happy with it.

I used a couple alchohol based stains for color, then finished this one with Tru Oil.

Since it's a Bucks Co piece, maybe engrave something deeply philosophical in authentic Pennsyltuckian? Be sure to work a couple "youn's" in there!
