Anybody else go into a bout of depression when the seasons end? And as if it wasn't bad enough, the first day after it ended I had two dozen Cans swimming around the dock, laughing at me.

Yeah it is a low time right now. To bad all the tree rats will have to pay for this lowly time with their lives..
Went out ducking Saturday only to have blue bill after blue bill skirt the decoys flipping us the bird as they went by out of range. I think they were just toying with us.
Good times and look forward to chasing a turkey soon.

Osprey I know how you feel man. I got a call this morning from someone that drove past a farm I lease for deer and goose hunting. Hasn't hardly been any birds there all year because they never planted a cover crop this year. Well guess what.... You couldnt fit another bird on the property today! Haha and I am sitting at my desk at work. Figures...

Know the feeling. Some rabbits are going to pay dearly.

I know I'll be out kicking bushes Saturday. Last time I was out I only saw one squirrel run inside a tree way off. You could've heard a pin drop.

Bart do you run dogs or just go kick the bushes? ? Fox, my rabbit dog died, but I've done a mixture of both in the past. I basically taught myself how to hunt, by hunting rabbits with a pellet gun when I used to come home from school.
