My brother had just smoked a Doe with his Hoyt Alpha Max and was about to get down from stand when he noticed a monster framed buck walking through some hollys. Immediately nocking another arrow he forced a shot at 41 yds and hit a brown thorn branch which deflected shot right into this bucks neck...Needless to say, Being lucky sometimes is better than good!!!!Buck is 22.5 inches wide on outside, rack stands about 19 inches tall with 21 inch main beams.......he doesnt have an acct on here so i wanted to post a pic of it for everyone!!!! St Marys County!!!! Good ole Faithful spot in Leonardtown....Medleys Neck Love seeing the big ones come out of St. Marys. I am very familiar with Medleys Neck. Killed my biggest racked deer to date from there. It was in 1995 the first year they added the youth day hunt. I had just turned 15 and was my one and only year I could participate in youth day. Medleys neck has always been known to put out some giant deer. Congratulations to your brother once again. That is a beast of a deer!

That is awesome! The shot in the neck was centered perfect for a deflection! That is really sweet!
