I was target shooting yesterday when a bee flew in my ear. I flinched my arrow droped off and I accidently dry fired my bow. It has only happened once should I have it checked out, it continued to shoot well. Just wanting some other opinions.

you have to examine the limbs really good to see if anything cracked. if they look fine and the bow still shoots you should be ok. but if you are worried about it, go ahead and take somewhere. (i recommend Kim at Tree Stand Archery in Hollywood MD)

I'm going to her today anyway, she has done all work on my bows for years.... I heard she is about to give it up.

I heard she is retiring in January. I also heard some one that helps her out now is going to keep it open. Not sure about the last but I have had 3 or 4 people tell me she is done in January.

Heard she is done as well.... My opinion and also an inside joke with my friends.... If you have a hoyt you don't need to worry.... if you have a mathews you better go get it checked! LOL My hoyt was dry fired twice and nothing is wrong with it. My buddy had his mathews dry fired once and it snapped the limb in half. n a serious note.... you should get it checked out. If you draw that thing back and the limb snaps you could get sreiously injured!
