Take your bug spray, skeeters are running really high numbers right now! They sure are! Bringing the thermacell and bug spray. Sorry about the wrong date. I knew that. Don't worry I was getting ready for work and not in the swamp. Going to give it a try friday morning.

DB, your friends must have really been in the honey hole. I talked to 10 groups of hunters and most only managed to scratch out a bird or two.

Bartman, they were from what I was told . There was a group in the spot they went to at first so they went down about 300yds and that group had 12 volleys 9 am and then they left I'm guessing work or limited out . My buddys went to that spot and that's when they got in to them .and I wasn't aware you could kill woodies during teal season lo88?

I tried fishing bay last friday but I walked in and everything was flooded out so bad I couldn't set my stuff down. Lot of raod was underwater. Ended up leaving. Dog was up to his neck in water when he sat and my hip waders were filling up. That was on what was dry land a few weeks before.

Yeah, that offshore system with NorthEast winds coupled with the high tide of the full moon. I loved the high water, I put my boat in at the road and was hunting in 5 minutes. Today I had to walk through the muck for 15 minutes to get to the same spot.

I love those tides when I'm in a kayak, can go anywhere, any direction! Who needs a stinkin channel...
