Well just put my deposit down on a Maine Black Bear hunt with Ole Hairy Head for Sept.. between that and the trip to Wyoming I have planned for Mulies and Antelope, should be a hell of a 2009 if everything planned out comes to fruition.

Congrats! We zeroed in NH and Me for moose, and elk in CO and KY. Putting in in July for a WY pref point, and hopefully we'll take my daughter out Sept '10 for antelope.
What area did you pull? I just finished mounting my '07 lope a couple months back and itching to get back after them.
Looks like I have just about a 100% chance of pulling my Georgia gator tag for this September, so that ought to be something different. Anyone interested, you can still apply-costs NOTHING to apply, and right now, you'll draw with 3 points.
Hope you have a great fall Fox-sure looks like it's setting up to be a good one for you!

The areas I put in for were easy to draw because it is all private property. A friend of my dad owns the land and is giving us full rights to the hunting this year for our trip. I cannot wait.. Should be awesome.

Sounds like you'll be busy Fox, just don't forget your appointment with a rather large phrag patch for me and Art!
So far I've got MD seasons, joined a club in DE for the year to try it up there (when I realized I could pick up nearly a month of flintlock hunting within an hour of home, due to different season dates, I had to give it a try), should draw Iowa gun with the two points I have (find out July 18) and hoping for MD bear since Team Skeeter has 2 points each plus this year's applications.

Team skeeter?
Sounds like something out of the swamps of the eastern shore to me.
I'm hoping on the bear this year as well. Got 2 points plus this year.

I'd start checking your mailboxes next week for this year's mosquito marsh party. And be sure to fill out the applicaitons carefully cause they've changed.

Well I take that back. DeerHunter calls me every now and then to remind me about our tuna fishing trip coming up next month too and that is AWESOME....
