Has anyone shot the new mathews reezen 6.5 or 7.0? If so tell me what you thought, looking at buying a new one this month. Thanks

Looks pretty BA! These bows are getting ridiculously fast too eh! Going off the specs and reputation, I would like to shoot one of those. Quick question, Does P&Y allow entries from bows with 70-80% let off? Not that it will most likely ever apply to me

I shoot a drenalin and the reezen is faster, in fact very fast, but there are some draw backs to it as well. Two that most people are noticing are, that the vane of your arrow makes contact with the cables after being centered with a laser and another issue people are seeing is that the draw cycle is not as smooth at the let off. it takes a little extra to get the cam to roll over. It may be because the shape of the cam. The bow will shot 340-360 fps, but its not as smooth as my drenalin. You may want to wait for the Monster to come out and see if you like it. Its a two cam bow? ? I've been shooting Mathews bows for any years, started with the MXZ and ultra light and I still think that Mathews bows are the best bow made and I will never shoot anything else.

I looked at the reezen just didnt like the draw... not smooth at all. So i bought a DXT and love it. I would test it out before you buy it. Freds will let you test it out!!

No offense bowhunterbob but I wouldn't let Freds tie my shoes for me. They are all arrogant a**holes. I would never give them the benefit of my business and will try to detour anyone from shopping there. Not a sermon just a thought.

smw, I use to feel the exact same as you and I have never bought anything from them you get that feeling just shopping there.
However I bought a DXT through them this year since Kim is all but out of business and no one else sells Mathews around me. I would have to say it was a great experience. They treated me great, helped me get my bow in tune when I picked it up and everything. I was very leery about going there but after the entire process I would go back.

hunting addict if your a mathews guy then thats all you got, but if you go in there with anything else they always want to compare and boast Mathews. I have never owned a mathews but several friends of mine have switchbacks and my Fred Bear Element was shooting faster swithback was shooting 250fps, arrow wieght was 382g draw 28" 65 lbs, my Bear was set up exactly the same shooting 272fps 382g arrow, 65 lbs 28" draw. So nothing againt them, and don't know much about any of the mathews after the switchback but why pay $1000.00 when $300.00 is better at the time. Bit I am gladf they were able to help you. Good luck this year.
