Down Southern Maryland. There is an Amish community down there and they will sell you corn really cheap. Its about a 45min drive from me and I'm already in Southern Maryland, so it would be a bit of a drive for you I would think.

I will have to see if there are any Amish communities up my way that may sell shell corn. If not its a good excuse to check out Chuck county.

I think stoltvsus ?>? is right. I don't remember $3 a bag. Think it is closer to $6 for 100lbs.
Haven't been down there in a while & think it is about time to go!!!1

Its Staufer's feed mill. They are three or four miles from my house. Really nice people there. Joe Staufer is the owner. I buy feed for my goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and sheep there. Also fifty pound blocks of salt and gallons of molasses.(cheap) Corn I don't remember how much. I think they sell in fifty and 100 pound bags. They are actually Meninites. Just like the Amish but no beards and some can drive cars. Be a nice drive for the family but closed on Sundays. During the week open till 6:00 and Sat open till 4:00.

Staffuers only has 50 pound bags. Stopped by tonight $4.35 a bag. Twenty bags or more are $3.97 each. Directions are go down route 5 until you see the WA WA. Go right for about 8 or 10 miles. On your left hand side. Third base gas station directly across the street.

I buy mine direct from the southern states grainery. I have not bought any this year as I have been working on my new property here on the shore. I have bought it for years from the grainery at lothian on rt 4.
I take my trailer and and when I get there I put a tarp down on trailer and I have about 25 or 30 of those big plastic tote bins.
They weigh your trailer/truck before filling and again after filling. It cost about $2.60 for a bushel which is 55# which is alot cheaper then southern states store at $6 for a 50# bag.
I dont own a pickup or I would just have them fill the back up.
