Just a little what if.....I use a Carter Choc Lite release....I think It was $130 over a year ago...so no Im not buying a back up. Just wanted to know how many people carry a back in the woods and how many people also practice with out one aswell. I lost mine on the way to the stand last year and didnt know till I got in the stand ( found it next day), but I was able to cont to hunt knowing I could make the shot with out it cause I practice without one......Just a little what if

no idon,t have a back up but i should. Last year i got all the way up in my climber and started to get gear out of my fanny pack and slip there goes my release all the way to the ground. You know what i had to do from there . I definetly recomend a back up release.

NOPE you dont have to....a release is just a AID shoot with just fingers every few shots and you will do just fine......practice practice...trust me TRY IT
