So....I'm a little behind the time in posting this but just found a free second to get online... Went over to Blackwater for a morning hunt on opening day. There were birds everywhere! Managed to shoot 4 Greenheads, 1 Woodie, 1 Teal and a Gadwall. Kind of odd to shoot a Woodie in the marsh.......I think she was lost. Oh, the last Greehead was federally banded! What a sweet way to end the hunt! Went back out the following thursday for a little afternoon honeyhole in St. Mary's and had one of the craziest duck hunts ever! Seemed like once the sun set, we had woodies coming from everywhere! Hundreds! There were so many coming to our little puddle we were set up on, it was hard to pick one and shoot! Freaking Awesome! We managed to get our limit! Can't wait to hit that hole again! Opening Day

Is that Taylor's Island? Looks just like the spot I go to a couple times a year.
