They've really run short on species this year?!?!?! The two species I'd like to find a bunch of cheap seedlings of are willow oak and Autumn olive, but they didn't have either even before they sold out for the year.

I noticed that as well. I looked at this back in November & there were a lot more species available... guess more people are taking advantage.

Virginia dept of Forestry has seedling for sale at a pretty good price. Over the years I have ordered a bunch of trees from them, have always had good success. I just checked the site and they have willow oak if you are still looking Osprey. They are $65 for 50 9"-14" and they must be ordered before april 26th. Last year I bought a wildlife mix, and hunted over the plot this past season. Food plots are the way to go in Virginia.

Wahoo I'll remember that next year, I'm going to try and plant a bunch of stuff each spring, willow oaks will be next year, and maybe some autumn olive hedges for the birdies. The sawtooths I put in this year are leafing out well, some already have 6" of new growth! Busco I've got loblollies if you want them How big do you want, 6" or 60' Man, all I have to do is not mow for one season and they'll be 10 per square foot coming up!!!!
