i was thinking we have a buck of a month and its no longer season maybe we should have a fish of a month? two catergories: freshwater and saltwater fish? i think it will be cool

Or maybe keep a record of the biggest fish (for each species) caught throughout the season?

Don't need to give out prizes or anything, just to see cool pics and something to work for on the next fishing trip!! Haven't heard from the administrators so it isn't looking good guys!

Although its tough to have a catogory for every kind of fish, I think its a cool idea. When someone catches the next big one they should start a new thread "Biggest Fish 07" with species, length, weight, and any other info they want(where, what bait, etc.) Then it can be added to by every new fish that is posted. I'm not to much of a fisherman myself, but i like to see nice fish and hear good fish stories. I say one in the fresh water section and one in salt. That way the same thread can go on for the entire summer plus by adding new pages to the thread. We will do the same in the turkey forum with a thread like "Turkey photos 07" weight, where, stories, etc. Can't wait to see who gets the first fish to start the thread.
