Me and my son were out about 3 hours on sat. No sheds, but saw one nice 8pt. We dont get too serious until march. We have about a 3hr. trip to our hunting area,so we try to wait until majority of bucks have dropped.

WOW a three hour trip! That would be tough to get any hunting at all in. I'd have to have a shed(no pun intended) to sleep in, stay a few days.

Still seeing bucks with antlers around our place. How about those snow flurries today; almost a 1/2 inch in Indian Head.

Out looking for sheds today - 3 of us for about 3 hours & no sheds. Got pics of a couple doe & my buddy saw "the biggest buck I have ever seen". Too bad no pics of it, but I have a couple of pics I will post tomorrow. Probably going to try for some more sheds next weekend.

Sure was fun - finding some sheds would have made it even better. Kind of odd all of the snow - it was coming down hard where we were & 5 minutes later the sun was out.

I've never had much luck finding sheds. Any tips? Also, was that pair close together when you found them, or did it just happen by chance?
