i bought one and love it. Its accurate, quit, and light. A friend of mine has a switchback, we have our bows set the exact same way 28" draw, 65lb pull, arrows are exactly 382gr. My Fred bear was shooting 272 fps his switchback was shooting 249fps. Goes to show you that people are easily persueded by a name versus quality. So my advice would be get a Bear and save yourself $700.00. So for all of you matthews lovers.....................suckers.

I like my mathews for more than just speed. Consistent and accurate shooting is what kills. I have never had a problem with the couple mathews I have owned and I do alot of shooting. I trust it.

My Instinct is crackerized (Mike Carter is possibly the worlds best bow tuner and string maker). I shoot a 370 grain arrow at 28" DL and 71 pounds and Crackers got mine to shoot 270. No way is an element going to out shoot my bow especially if the element has the factory strings which are complete JUNK.
