Well I'll start by saying the loyalty/rivalry between mathews and hoyt is like the one between chevy and ford. They are both good.
Started with a bear compound for three years.
I now shoot a Mathews Legacy I've had since 2002. No complants, Love my bow!

02' BowTech Patriot, Whisker Biscuit, Trophy Ridge sights, all kinds of vibration stuff, though this bow is so smooth I really don't need them.
As for the ones I have had, my first was a Bear Whitetail Hunter (killed my first deer with it) flipper rest, aluminum arrows, iron sights, and fingers for release. I was 14 and could barely pull it back but it got the job done. My next was a PSE Polaris Express, that was when overdraws were in. Pretty fast but loud! Then I had a High Country 4Runner. I had the string jump the Idler Wheel causing the cam to shatter in my face!!!!!!!!!! So, I upgraded to the Carbon 4Runner Extreme. That was a sweet short little bow and fast too (in 2000). That one too jumped the idler wheel but the cam didn't shatter this time. Took it to the pro shop where the guy "Fixed it". When I got it home, I pulled it back and all hell broke loose in my face again. I got it fixed and traded it in!!!!!!!!! I will never own a split-limb bow again! High Country then fixed the problem and added a bushing to keep the limbs from dipping, though they denied fault for the first two bows exploding. They did treat me OK as they put knew limbs on the two bows that caused the problems and replaced the cams and strings. Big Hassle Though!

Can't say I blame you. If my old bow was still up to par, I'd be using it too. Had my current one for about 6 years and will have it until it falls apart.

I have shot my Mathews SQ 2 since 2001 and it has been a good, solid bow. I just ordered a Mathews drenalin today and hope it is the right move for me. Has anyone shot the drenalin, or heard anyone talking about the bow? I was trying to do some reading on the Internet to see what people were thinking about it, but haven't heard much either way. The only person I did talk to said that it 's the cats meow.

Guess I'm staying with my current Hoyt instead of getting a new one - got it at the shop getting new cables, strings and drop away rest. Trying the blazer vanes this year, too. The money I'm saving could pay for a whole 'nuther huntin trip!!!!

I bought a brand new Hoyt Laser tech last month. Got it for $300. The draw length is a little short for me but it does not bother me, only 1/2 inch. It has very little vibration and is very accurate in my opinion. Only had enough time to shoot in my 15 yard pin. groups are so tight I am scared of breaking and arrow knock! Looking forward to getting it up and running for next year! Used my friends bow to shoot my 10 point and my bow is 10 times more accurate. I can say that I was very lucky to get my deer last year!
