I purchased the 3 blade and used the practice tips after feeling very confident with how my bow was shooting. They flew perfectly! The three blade seems to be more popular cinsidering what was left on the shelves at Bass pro and Dick,s sporting goods. I have a friend who used them last year and he had nothing but great things to say. I'll let you know what I think September 15th!

Are those the heads that Chuck Adams promotes? They look pretty bad ass but I’m tired of experimenting with mechanicals. Most have worked ok in the past but I’m going back to Muzzy’s. I’m trying the new MX3’s

I've seen them used on TV by some of the pros and they always had good things to say about the rage heads. A good friend of mine just bought a head called a piston point head (piston point.com) , which is just ANOTHER mechanical head to research. I haven't received any word on them yet, but I hope to hear from him by dark on Sept. 15th. I'll tell you, heads are coming out on the market so quickly, that it's hard to keep up with them.

I used Tekkan II last year and I loved them. I have a feeling that I will like the rage because of how my practice tips are flying. I guess I have gotten lucky with my choices because the only way I can develop an opinion is by experimenting, so far I like both the Tekkan's and the Rage. Don't have a kill with the rage yet but I don't think I'll have a problem.

I'm buying rage this week. I have done a lot of research and feel rage is a great broadhead. I'm going to buy the two blade (2" cutting diameter!) I can't wait to track a blood trail left by that broadhead.

Meat grinder, you said you shoot the two blade rage. What kind of set up are you shooting? Meaning, what arrow (carbon or metal & Grains?) and how many pounds are you shooting with your bow. and feet per second? I'm just concerned about pass through and a safe distance to shoot these heads in order to get a pass through.

I WAS SHOOTING PARKER FRONTIER II PLUS AT 62 LBS CARBON ST AXIS ARROWS. THIS YEAR IN SHOOTING A MATTHEWS DRENALIN AT 64 LBS CARBON EXPRESS MAXIMA HUNTER ARROWS. I WOUNLDNT BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE PASS THRU. THE ENTRANCE WHOLE IS AMAZING AS LONG AS YOU HIT WHERE YOU AIM. I ALSO SHOT A DOE AT 52 YDS LAST YEAR

SHot my muzzy last night and it sucks! First shot went four inches low at 20yds. Thought it was me and took a second shot, 3 inches left. Checked my fletchings and took a third shot. Silly as it may sound.... it went four inches low and left. Just doesn't work for me. My rage practice tips are right on!!!

If you are going to go with rage. Go with the 2 blades. Trust me you wont regret it.
