Anybody use them? Like 'em? Not?? I may try them this spring. Killed three Toms with the Muzzy's but I like the whole 'no tracking' thing, especially around here. A bird going 70 yards is one thing on the prairie, but in the briars it's a different story!

I have seen these broadheads and been telling a few people about them. There motto is "If you want 'em dead, Lop off their head" Pretty catchy. I think that each of the four blades are like four inches long. Which gives you a lot of cutting area. My only questions would be. How do they fly? And are there practice heads? I'll stick to my twelve gauge until I get a few more birds under my belt.

The guy that works on my bow told me you need to have a full length arrow to make sure they don't hit the riser, but other than that they fly like field points. Of course that normally means getting a few new arrows and resighting for them since they're longer and heavier. I may still try them, would be cool to de-head one. The 125 grain are 4" diameter, the 100 grain are either 2 1/2" or 3", not sure. May get them because I just like saying GUILLLOTINE!!!

Looked at them pretty hard when I was picking up my bow and refletched arrows, but decided against it. Main reason - my riser design and the way I hold my hand on the bow, those nasty looking blades were just too close to my knuckles for comfort! I can just see something bad happening in the excitement of a big gobbler close-by, and I don't want the nickname 9 Finger Osprey.

I will have to agree with you there. If I were to get those things, I'd shoot full-length arrows so they would be as far away from my hands as possible!

I'm with you Rommel. Stick to the shotgun until I'm sick of killing so many with a gun. Then I'll try a real challenge and use a sling shot. LOL

What would you use for a quiver? A trapper's basket?
