I dont know how you guys bowhunt out of a 15' foot stand? Thats not high enough. Visit loggybayou.net and they have a 18' bowhunter ladderstand called the "brush" for around 80 bucks. Its also 30% off, actually all there stands are on that site. I like to get 20 ft., but 18 is a lot better than 15 in my eyes. Just a thought.

I am with you ducks. I like to be as high up the tree as i can but i have family that hunt and are a little afraid of heights.. 10 to 15 ft is all they will go... but anything helps.. Gun season is right around the corner and if you can get off the ground i think that ups your odds quite a bit.. i try to get my climber up to about 20 to 30 at least while hunting but sometimes you just have to go as high as the tree will let you with out becoming a dang lumber jack....

I buy the 15 footers for like 50 bucks then buy a 4 foot extension for 20 bucks. For seventy you got a good tall stand.
