Definitely, a nice mature trophy. He looks bigger than you described. Nice big hooks up front as well. When they get that size it is hard to tell how old they are. Atleast 3.5, but could be on the way down (scary how old some of them get). Osprey, atleast mine had antlers

And you BETTER turn that in for October buck of the month, it should be mandatory that October winner be a sika!! ;D Osprey or Buckmaster, how do I do that?? I would be willing to apply. I just looked at the page for Oct. buck of the month and the link to learn how to submit photos. It is not working, for me anyways?? I know it'll be darn hard, near impossible to beat the new possible MD state Archery record breaker by that 18 yr. old kid, did ya'll see that buck on marylandwhitetail.com yet? What a buck!!!!

Well, when we started the Buck of the month contest it was only for whitetails taken in Maryland, but it makes me wonder if we should ad a section for sika deer next season (now that we are all becoming sika hunters as well!) This takes nothing away from your awesome sika! That was one hell of a hunt. We will work something for next year to ad a sika contest with sika prizes.
What about the link doesn't work? I can take a look at it.

Buckmaster, when I clicked on the link, it sent me to an error page. It said, "if you clicked on a link, let the administrator of the site know because the page you are requesting is no longer available" Guess you ought to know that. Too bad for the non-allowable sika entries. I would suggest that all Deer in MD should be allowable, Whitetail, Sika, Fallow. They are all wild in the state, just my opinion for future contests. However, it's alright, I'll have the MEMORIES and the mount, that's what reallymatters anyways!!! ;D As a side question, what does KARMA # represent on here?? Also, the stars under the name, does that represent how long you've been a member of the site (ie new member, junior hunter, etc...)

I think karma is how many responses a poster gets after making a post. (I might be wrong on that) The stars and status level (new member, master hunter, etc.) is based on how many posts you have. The more posts, the higher and quicker the stars and status go up. Next year a sika trophy section is a definite. Hard to judge them in the same catagory. Kind of like apples and oranges. And unless someone knows how hard it is too shoot a mature stag and what a mature stag looks like. They are always going to think "thats just a little deer" if only they knew.
