If you look on that same site search for the information pages for southern stingray, roughtail stingray and bluntnose stingray. They are the 3 most common species of rays in the Chincoteague area. Southerns are the most common, but roughtails will get over 200lbs.

Seen one alot bigger than that one 2 years back> She swam up while I was getting another one in the boat that my son shot. Here is a roughtail caught on the surf at Assateague. Easy 200lbs from the PowerPro web site.
