With a heavy heart I wanted to take a second to post and let folks know my beautiful chocolate lab Maggie passed yesterday. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do happened yesterday. My beautiful chocolate lab had a wonderful life and she was the best dog I have ever had. Maggie was the sweetest most loving gal and a hard worker all the way to the end. We knew her time was coming and had made plans to take her to the vet today but in true stubborn a$$ Maggie way, she went on her own terms. I woke up early to go to work. First thing I did was check on her and she was down stairs. I laid with her and petted her. She seemed to be doing better than she was last night. I came to the kitchen to get ready for work and I heard her come up the stairs. She looked at me in the kitchen, almost to say goodbye and laid on her bed in the living room. As I came out, I notice she was acting funny and I laid with her again and sat with her as she took her last breath. It breaks my heart but I know she is not suffering and she did it her way. I love you Maggie and we all do. You are the best and I will miss you more than people will ever know. RIP Maggie

I can't even fathom this but my wife called me at work today and my other dog Hunter was not doing well. He has a large tumor on his spleen we have known about for some time. He had vomited blood in our basement this morning and she called me at work. I met her at the vet and they gave us the bad news. His tumor had ruptured and he was bleeding internally. I had to make the call to put him down so he did not suffer. This has been the crappiest 2 days I have had in my life. I cannot believe life can be so unfair sometimes but I know he is not in pain and he is reunited with my sweet Maggie in heaven. I cannot believe this has happened but Hunter and Maggie were a couple sweet hearts and I know all dogs go to
