Really noticed the movement of the deer pick up this Saturday morning.
Bucks were definitely moving the doe. Anyone else seen the same?

Haven't been able to get out the past couple days, but am getting some buck pics in the evenings while it's still daylight. Haven't seen any out and about during daytime yet, but I bet this next cold front will kick them into gear.

Was out this morning and saw 2 bucks cruising. They bumped some does and gave brief chase. Good to hear some grunting.

My aunt walked out with her dog on Oct 17th to a buck and doe getting it on in the front yard (evening) lol! I saw a buck following two does hard in a field sunday the 19th (evening).
My buddy and I saw two does last saturday morning and took one... things are starting to pick up

Seen a real nice buck in Hughesville last night about 6pm in a field right behind a doe.. He looked to be a 8 point and very nice.. I slammed on the breaks so Dylan could see him and when the doe ran he was right on her a$$... Thinking this cold front will really get them going...

My buddy just told me that a real nice one was laying in the median right by one of my hunting properties.

I've been hunting a spot a few miles from the house the past couple days, have seen one doe and fawns in daylight and nothing else. Very few deer, and only does, even in the dark driving to and from. Plenty of pics at night on the cameras, but seems slow to get going around here. I may actually change up and hunt sika today...

Buddy I hunt with saw two mature bucks last night trailing a doe. First one was running her. Second one came by about 20 minutes later with his nose to the ground down the same trail she had taken.

Seems to have clicked on here! Was at the mailbox at 1pm and had a high rack 10 point I've been watching all summer cross the blacktop road 100 feet from me. Hunting tonight had an 8pt at 15 yards grunting his head off, running around, ended up thrashing a bush 5 feet from me on the other side of the cedar I was hiding in - and I was on the ground. Very cool night! Have high hopes Sunday will be off the hook.

Hunted this morning. Saw a mature buck right on the trail of a doe. Too far for a shot.

I've had plenty of smaller bucks around me, but not the big boys yet. I hear that somebody on here whacked a good one this morning though..

And another hit the dirt tonight, my old man arrowed what had been a decent 8, a palmated rack we'd been calling turkeyfoot. Rack was all busted up with broken tines from fighting, but he was pretty happy. Bugger had only been one other night all year and now he's ahead of me...

Saw this guy fighting and chasing on Sunday. He came in quietly this morning and only gave me a split second to shoot. He's a 10pt with his g2 freshly broken off and dressed out at 185lbs. I think he's 5.5+.
