Not many back in the frag . But they were BAD along the road ! But the marsh had it going on . Heard 10-12 going off all over .

That's typical for the skeeters, when they do hatch off the marsh they move up along the upland edges, higher chances for a blood meal there. The open marsh is rarely bad unless you happen along just after a big hatch. Teal hunting Monday we had bugs the first 15 minutes, but after sunrise never felt another one. If you stick to mornings of 50 degrees or less you shouldn't have much bug problems either way until it warms up later in the day.
Bugling huh? That's good, I think I'm going to start heading down this week. At work Friday morning, between the cool temps and full moon, sika were running everywhere along the roads in the dark. Stags crossing the roads, herds of hinds bounding, looked like it may be starting a bit early this year!
Forecast is low of 47 with a NE wind for Tuesday morning, looks like a winner to me!
