Went out with 3 of my buddies for my last hunt of the season. We walked a lot and had no responses. Got to the end of one of my properties and my buddy Jim started to call. While he was calling I heard a gobble deep in the woods so I told him to stop and we set out the full strut and the hen quickly and got set up. Two birds came running in silent and Brandon was the primary shooter (the only one who had a shot) and he lit this bird up! Jim got the credit for calling in his first bird and this is Brandon's second bird ever, first of the season. What a great way to end it!!

10.25 inch beard and 1&1/8 inch spurs. The longest strand of the beard reached the 11.25 inch mark!

Congrats to your buddy! That's a hell of a nice late season gobbler.
